Kuopio-based Member of Parliament Karoliina Partanen is set to become a minister during Sanni Grahn-Laasonen’s family leave. The National Coalition Party’s party executive and parliamentary group made the decision at their meetings on Thursday.
Partanen is a first-term MP and a Master of Laws with court training. She was elected first deputy chair of the National Coalition Party at the party conference last weekend.
At a press conference yesterday, Partanen said that this autumn her agenda will include pension reform for entrepreneurs, a proposed social media ban for young people, and issues related to equality and domestic violence.
