The editorial team recommends: If you have not yet taken part in the free guided cemetery walks, this summer is a good time to do so. The walks offer a concise mix of history, stories, art and nature.
Today, Thursday 11 June, at 6 p.m., there will be a guided walk in Finnish at Kuopio’s Iso hautausmaa, led by Nina Pelli. The tour will be in Finnish. The walk starts from the end of the cemetery nearest the bus station.
Cemetery walks are held throughout the summer at different cemeteries in Kuopio and the surrounding area. More information is available on the Kuopio parishes’ website (in Finnish).
